Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Key duties include helping customers in-store and by phone, meeting personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper changes.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, catalogs, and procedures.
• Use basic math for pricing and transactions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet its targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Support store cleanliness and stocking; safely deliver parts to customers.
