Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experiences to DIY customers, hitting sales targets, performing DIY services like battery installation and wiper

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts.
• Ability to use store systems and POS.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
