Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge to DIY customers and support advanced store operations. This full-time role requires strong automotive knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to operate store POS and inventory systems.

ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required. You will handle parts lookup, customer assistance, and basic DIY services in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfilling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, dusting, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
