Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY car parts sales and services. The role requires strong product knowledge, efficient parts lookup, and customer-oriented service to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities include performing DIY services, maintaining store standards, and serving customers both in-store and by phone. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock)
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, parking lot)
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)
