Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert car part knowledge and advanced store systems familiarity. The role includes battery testing/installation, wiper installs, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in auto parts, a valid driver’s license, and may benefit from ASE certification. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus, with flexibility to work across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
