Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services, parts lookup, and in-store expertise. This role covers battery installations, diagnostics, and high-quality customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, ASE P2 or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Emphasis on inventory accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• ASE P2 certification preferred or ASE ready equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
