Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, in-store services, and accurate part identification. The role emphasizes strong sales and customer service and the ability to operate store systems.

As a full-time position, you will perform battery testing, wiper installs, and inventory tasks, with opening/closing duties and safety compliance. A valid driver’s license and ASE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience is desirable.
• Proven sales ability and customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Handle key holder duties (opening/closing, safety, task assignments).
• Assist with store inventory including cycle counts and back stock.
