Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and part knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform battery and wiper services, and help manage inventory while maintaining store standards.

The role requires strong English communication, 3–5 years in automotive parts, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is a plus. This is a full-time, in-store position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and bills of parts.
• English speaking and writing required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties including opening/closing tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, parking lot).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
