Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert product knowledge, automotive system understanding, and strong service skills. This full-time role emphasizes accurate parts identification, issue resolution, and efficient use of store systems.

You will lead customer interactions, help with DIY services (battery tests, wiper installs), and assist with inventory and store appearance. 3–5 years of auto parts experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer service focus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers via in-person visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including openings, closings, and safety.
