Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of store systems, parts identification, and DIY services, advising customers in person and by phone. This full-time role requires strong organization and the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Follow written or oral instructions and diagrams.
• Complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic math and unit conversions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
