Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems and parts sourcing. You will handle battery installs, testing, wiper installs, and advise customers to meet sales and service goals.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts lookup, and diagnostic equipment, plus excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license and ASE preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high customer service standards and store appearance.
• Discharge key holder responsibilities: task assignment and safety.
