Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer services and parts lookup. The role requires strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts sourcing, and hands-on ability to install or test services like batteries and wipers.

You will work with store inventory systems and POS to meet sales goals in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should have 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Proven sales ability and customer service excellence.
• Ability to operate store inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
