Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions, including battery installs, parts sourcing, and diagnostic testing.

You will use store systems and parts knowledge to assist customers in-store and by phone, meet sales goals, and maintain excellent service standards. Required are 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Ensure high customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors and bathrooms
• Offer DIY services including battery installation and testing
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment for DIY services
• Develop advanced parts lookup and sourcing strategies
• Demonstrate advanced selling skills for DIY
