Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and part knowledge in a busy store environment. The role emphasizes expert store systems use, parts lookup, and high-quality customer interactions.

You will handle battery installations, wiper installs, and other DIY services, while maintaining safety standards and inventory accuracy. A valid driver's license and 3–5 years in auto parts are preferred; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of store inventory and parts lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
