Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and service capabilities, including battery installation and diagnostics.

The position is full time and involves key holder duties and maintaining store standards. Candidates should have 3–5 years of auto parts experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfilling customer transactions.
Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
English language skills; Spanish a plus.
Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
