Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions and store operations.

The role requires expert parts knowledge, system familiarity, and strong customer service to drive sales and assist DIY customers both in-store and by phone. Responsibilities include managing parts sourcing, performing services such as battery installations and wiper changes, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Able to operate POS and parts lookup systems; basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
