Job summary

Paladin Land Group, LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks a Land/Division Order Tech to review production and sales data, title, contracts, curative, and related documents to prepare revenue decks. The role requires Tulsa metro residency or a minimum three-day weekly commute with a flexible schedule in a team setting.

You will maintain ownership divisions of interest in Quorum Land & Accounting, ensure royalty payments, and analyze legal documents to determine ownership while coordinating with Accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or at least three years of Division Order Analyst experience.
• Experience with Quorum/OGSYS ODA/ODL systems.
• Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Well organized, flexible and able to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of ownership division of interest for billing and revenue in Quorum Land & Accounting.
• Ensure timely payment of royalties according to state statutes.
• Analyze title opinions, contracts, curative, leases, and other documents to determine ownership and lease burden.
• Work with Land staff to clear and cure title; process probate information and transfer documents.
• Maintain divisions of interest as payouts or recompletions occur.
• Coordinate with Accounting for revenue distributions and adjustments.
• Review legal documents/transfers of title for mass updates in Quorum.
• Perform routine data input and administration in Quorum.

Job description

The Land/Division Order Tech will be responsible for reviewing and approving production and sales data, along with reviewing title, agreements, curative, and other internal data to create revenue decks. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of tasks and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The position will be in midtown Tulsa, OK. MUST LIVE IN TULSA METRO AREA OR ABLE TO COMMUTE TO TULSA a minimum of 3 days per week. Flex schedule. Team working environment. Candidates choose between W2 or 1099 (contract) employment structure after initial probationary period.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of ownership division of interest for both billing and revenue in the Quorum Land & Accounting System
• Ensure the timely payment of royalties in accordance with state statutes
• Analyze title opinions, land contracts, operating agreements, oil and gas leases, broker reports, curative, well and regulatory documents, conveyances, probate and heirship data and other legal documents to determine ownership and lease burden relationships for production proceeds from oil and gas wells
• Work with Land staff to clear and cure title
• Process all probate information and transfer documents from interest owners to maintain a correct division of interest
• Maintain and correct divisions of interest as payouts and/or recompletions occur
• Review, discuss and provide area updates on a recurring basis for respective area and activity
• Coordinate with Accounting to ensure proper and timely distribution of revenues and processing of any prior period adjustments
• Research legal suspense items
• Review and interpret legal documents/transfers of title to perform mass changes in Quorum Land & Accounting System
• Review and handle re-classes of interest, funds transfers, etc. in the Quorum Land & Accounting System
• Verify GWI/NRI on non-operated division orders
• Familiar with working escheat
• Perform quarterly audits of suspense funds and SOX controls and/or assist with audit requests
• Perform routine data input and administration activities within the Quorum Land & Accounting System
• Familiar with name and address data set-ups and maintenance
• Perform detailed analysis of title opinions and legal documents to determine title ownership and identify/resolve identified issues
• Research ownership through laws of descent and distribution and interest succession
• Respond to inquiries from mineral owners, title attorneys, other third parties, and internal staff regarding property interests

Minimum Qualifications
