Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring an Assistant Division Manager in North Carolina to support the Division Manager with daily accounting and operational procedures. You will help grow revenue, develop staff, and oversee all division-level functions while interacting with municipal staff, clients, and employees.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor managers, drive cost savings, and implement process improvements, ensuring policy compliance and strong cross‑functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of management or supervisory work experience.
• Ability to multi task and lead teams.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel/Word).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL and DOT Medical Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all accounting functions including fiduciary, purchasing, budgetary, forecast, and financial planning.
• Handle client support matters and meetings with the Division Manager.
• Build relationships with managers, drivers, helpers, mechanics, and office staff across areas.
• Mentor and develop staff; oversee recruitment and training with local HR.
• Develop and review budgets; forecast needs and yearly projections.
• Identify cost savings plans and implement process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with municipal staff and pursue new growth opportunities.
• Attend corporation trainings and stay updated with technology used by Waste Pro USA.
