Qualifications

• Experience leading an operations management level in waste management, logistics, or transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, diverse teams and drive performance.
• Experience with P&L, budgeting, and improving operational efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills for negotiating with officials and managing client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Ensure safe, efficient daily operations for hauling or transfer stations, optimizing routing and resources.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the business unit's budget, monitor revenue and cost performance to meet profitability targets.
• Team Leadership: Lead managers across operations, sales, fleet, and finance, fostering a safe workplace and ensuring policy compliance.
• Customer & Community Relations: Maintain strong municipal/corporate client relationships and resolve service issues to uphold reliability.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and meet safety standards.
