Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead accounting operations for the division, reporting to the Global Head of Finance & Accounting.
  • Manage monthly financial closing processes for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements per US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
  • Research and implement new accounting policies and standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for audits.
  • Maintain internal controls and best practices.
  • Prepare management and ad-hoc reports, including performance analysis.
  • Manage staff in Tampa and internationally.
  • Utilize ERP systems for process facilitation and record keeping.
  • Oversee project accounting and allocations for new contracts.
  • Participate in financing activities such as refinancing, debt management, and covenant compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Division Controller or similar role.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience with accounting research.
  • International accounting experience, including multi-currency transactions.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
  • Team collaboration skills across organizational levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and consolidation/reporting tools.
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably with Big 4 or public companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Supervisory experience.
