Financial Controller

Location: USA (Remote)

Join us as a Financial Controller for Animal Health & Nutrition and take the lead in shaping financial excellence. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure accurate reporting, drive compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and play a hands-on role in budgeting, product costing, and intercompany reconciliation. Your key responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial actuals for ANH by collaborating with Financial Controllers, BU Finance, and business teams.
  2. Review the integrity of sub ledgers and prepare or validate balance sheet reconciliations to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot product costing in SAP, ensuring accurate cost data and system efficiency.
  4. Support capital project processes by setting up new projects, monitoring Assets Under Construction (AUC), and ensuring timely closures.
  5. Prepare documentation for accruals, provisions, and special items, and support the delivery of information for both internal and external audits.
  6. Provide ad-hoc assistance on various financial controlling tasks for the Financial Controller and Business Unit Finance team.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000, reflecting the pay expectations for the successful candidate, based on skills, experience, education, and location. The position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the salary range.

You bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA and/or MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment; cost accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience and digital systems curiosity a plus.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge preferred.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Comfortable working on new projects and process improvement initiatives.
