Incendia Partners seeks a sharp, hands-on Controller for our Medford manufacturing facility to own financial reporting and accounting operations. You’ll be a true business partner to leadership, translating complex data into clear decisions and building a strong team with tight controls.
This on-site role demands manufacturing cost accounting insight, GAAP proficiency, and the ability to lead close processes, costing, budgeting, and compliance in a growing operation.
My client is looking for a sharp, hands‑on Controller to own financial reporting and accounting operations at their Medford manufacturing facility. This is a high‑impact role sitting at the intersection of finance and operations — you’ll be a true business partner to leadership, not just a scorekeeper. If you thrive in a manufacturing environment, love turning complex financial data into clear decisions, and take pride in building strong teams and tighter controls, this role is built for you.
Lead the monthly and period‑end close process end‑to‑end — journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and operating statistical reports — with precision and on deadline, every time.
Work closely with Operations and Sales leadership to deliver financial analysis and actionable insights that improve efficiency, support pricing decisions, and advance financial objectives.
Develop and maintain robust standard cost models, conduct variance analysis, and produce reporting that informs profitability, production decisions, and long‑range planning.
Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, internal controls, and procedures — with particular focus on purchase activity, production usage, manufacturing costs, and inventory management.
Collaborate on annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑range financial plans; prepare insightful analysis to guide resource allocation and track performance against targets.
Prepare year‑end audit work papers, support external auditors, and ensure timely completion of tax returns and all regulatory and government filings.
Monitor and report key operating metrics, oversee monthly physical inventories, and enforce procedural compliance across the operation.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing accounting team. Build a collaborative culture where people do their best work.
This is not a back‑office position. You’ll have real visibility, real influence, and a real seat at the table in a stable, growing manufacturing business. You’ll inherit a solid foundation and have genuine room to build on it — improving systems, developing talent, and making your mark on the financial operations of a facility that produces tangible results.
This position is on‑site in Medford, Oregon. Candidates must be able to work from the facility full‑time.
