Job summary

Talent Haus is seeking a Controller to join a vertically integrated manufacturing operation. You will sit with operations leadership, shape cost strategy across multiple facilities, and influence day-to-day business decisions.

The position emphasizes moving beyond back-office work, partnering with senior leaders to improve margins, and leading a finance team through growth and change. This role offers a clear path toward Director as influence grows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience managing a team.
• CPA/CMA a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to operational leadership.
• Partner with VPs and plant managers to drive cost control and margin improvement.
• Oversee inventory management and cost accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide financial support for capital projects and investment decisions.
• Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Maintain and develop internal control procedures.
• Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed.
