Job summary

Cincinnati Test Systems in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting, supply chain, and HR functions for a growing manufacturing business. You will close books monthly, prepare financials, and partner with operations to drive profitability and productivity. The ideal candidate has 8+ years progressive accounting experience, 5+ years in leadership, and strong U.S.

GAAP knowledge within a manufacturing environment. CPA/CMA preferred.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing manufacturing business. In addition to leading accounting and financial reporting, this position provides leadership and oversight for the Supply Chain and Human Resource functions, making it a highly visible role with broad operational impact.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable closing the books, leading a high-performing accounting team, improving processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to business leadership.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Controller who enjoys partnering with operations and contributing beyond traditional accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare timely and accurate financials.
• Analyze operating results and explain key business drivers.

Manufacturing Finance

• Oversee standard costing and cost accounting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Manufacturing accounting experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA
• Experience with both percentage of completion accounting and standard costing
• Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment
• Experience implementing process improvements
• Exposure to consolidations and intercompany accounting
