Job summary

Eaton’s Industrial sector, Mobility division seeks a Division CI Manager- LV to deploy Lean and Six Sigma strategies across sites. The role blends training, mentoring, and cross-functional leadership with a strong focus on eliminating waste and improving margins, delivery, safety, and process variation.

The position supports site CI activities, aligns with the division strategy, and requires extensive Lean/Six Sigma expertise, plus training capabilities. Hybrid work option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5-8 years of related operations or engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Lean (5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF)) and 6 Sigma in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma strategy, actions, and cross-functional activities including Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and Kaizens
• Ensures Continuous Improvement training including Lean and Six Sigma training. May personally lead training or delegate to another qualified CI trainer on the team
• Conducts Eaton CI System (ECIS) assessments, and identifies performance gaps. Works through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
• Leads Lean and Six Sigma support across the organization to drive short-term and long term business improvements.
• Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
• Leads improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
• Provides Lean and Six Sigma Mentoring to support functional talent development and succession planning
• Works with Plant CI Managers to ensure alignment of plant CI activities to broader functional strategy and vision
• Utilize industrial engineering skills, along with lean tools, to drive productivity improvements
