Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead site-wide CI initiatives in Davenport, IA. You will drive Lean and Six Sigma programs, mentor teams, and embed ECIS practices to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains.

You will champion problem-solving frameworks such as VSM, A3, DAP, LSW, and TPM, while partnering across functions to sustain improvements and build a culture of continuous excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of Continuous Improvement using Lean methods across multiple functions.
• 5+ years in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Certified and Active Six Sigma Belt and RedX problem solving methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy, deployment, sustainment and performance management.
• Drive Kaizen events, structured problem solving (A3) and Six Sigma initiatives to deliver measurable improvements.
• Lead CI and Six Sigma training and certification efforts for CI professionals and front-line leaders.
• Identify adverse trends and systemic issues through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven analysis.
• Promote CI practices through tools like Value Stream Mapping, 5 Why, and Leader Standard Work.
