The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration seeks a highly experienced leader to serve as Chief of the Compliance Division in Washington, DC. You will direct the division's efforts to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate FMCSA safety programs, policies, and enforcement strategies.

You will lead a team of specialists, coordinate with field staff, and communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to diverse audiences, advancing safe motor carrier operations nationwide.

Formación

• Experience applying Federal and State policies related to motor carrier safety.
• Experience interpreting regulations to recommend program changes.
• Ability to communicate complex policy to diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall guidance to staff and the division.
• Develop and implement FMCSA policies and guidance.
• Prepare rulemaking support papers for new legislation when needed.
