Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking a Dive Tender to provide field support for dive operations at our Houston project site. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining diving equipment, and coordinating with the Diving Supervisor and Divers to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The candidate will perform routine maintenance, assist with topside work, manage surface-supplied diving tasks, and document dive details.

Qualifications

• Requires certified commercial dive training and ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
• Must maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Good verbal communication and ability to work as part of a dive team.

Responsibilities

• Support and ensure safe completion of all diving operations as directed by the Diving Supervisor.
• Set up and operate diving equipment as directed and perform routine maintenance.
• Tend a surface-supplied diver and manage line signals as required.
• Record depth, bottom time, and decompression schedule on Dive Sheet.
• Participate in safety trainings and adhere to Diving Manual and regulatory guidelines.
