Job summary

ORION is seeking a Diver Supervisor to oversee marine diving operations in a construction environment in Tampa, FL. The role involves planning and directing topside and underwater activities, ensuring diver safety, and coordinating with the Dive Foreman and other Orion personnel.

Responsibilities include conducting regular diver training, maintaining and repairing equipment, and implementing safe diving procedures in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise diving operations as directed by the Diving Foreman to ensure safe, on-time completion.
• Plan topside and underwater tasks in accordance with the Diving Foreman’s instructions.
• Conduct regular safety training for divers to maintain high performance and knowledge of procedures.
• Ensure all diving gear is maintained and ready for use; assist with repairs when needed.
• Follow safe diving procedures per the Diving Manual and company policies.
• Prepare an on-site Emergency Plan with contact details for recompression facilities and transport agencies.
