Job summary

State Center Community College District is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management to lead districtwide enrollment planning and execution. The role oversees the Enrollment Services team, drives data-driven strategies to meet matriculation, outreach and retention goals, and ensures reporting compliance across state and federal requirements.

The incumbent collaborates with Research, Finance, Admissions and Records, Counseling and administration to align resources with the Educational Master

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the planning, development and implementation of the mission, vision, and goals for enrollment management at the District; develops and recommends action plans to reach those goals.
• Plans, organizes, directs, controls, integrates and evaluates the work of the Enrollment Services department; manages work plans, budget, processes and procedures.
• Directs and manages performance of managers and staff; sets performance targets, provides coaching, and handles personnel actions in accordance with policies and agreements.
• Collaborates with the Districtwide Enrollment Management Committee to define enrollment management and develop a strategic plan aligning with accreditation standards and master plans.
• Plans, designs and consults on FTES targets, enrollment projections and strategies to maximize growth and efficiency.
• Works with Research, Institutional Effectiveness, Finance, and Admissions to ensure data-driven enrollment practices, reporting, and districtwide compliance.
• Oversees data integrity in the student information system and the submission of state and federal reports; analyzes data and presents findings to inform enrollment efforts.
• Maintains knowledge of laws and regulations (FERPA, Title V, Education Code) and monitors trends in enrollment management and student lifecycle.
• Leads cross-department collaboration to coordinate data sharing and enrollment initiatives districtwide.
