Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credit hours or completion of Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment.
• Experience working with youth in educational settings is preferred.
• Ability to support students with special needs and diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers in implementing instructional practices and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Support students with disabilities in health-related procedures and accommodations as directed.
• Maintain student data, attendance, and classroom records; assist with clerical tasks.
• Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to teachers.
• Implement behavior plans and PBIS in accordance with district policies.
• Assist with transportation, lunch, and non-academic activities as assigned.
