Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credit hours or completion of the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or an Associate's Degree.
• Experience working with youth in organized settings and some instructional exposure with children with disabilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with health-related procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers in implementing instructional practices and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
• Support student progress by monitoring behavior and data collection.
• Perform routine clerical duties and manage instructional materials as assigned.
• Help implement IEP-based strategies and participate in professional development as needed.
