Job summary

Oakridge School District is seeking a Special Education-Behavior Consultant to provide district-wide behavioral consultation, assessment, intervention planning, and professional development. The role focuses on intensive Tier 3 supports, FBAs, and BIPs, while also improving Tier 1 classroom behavior management through coaching and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Oregon teaching license with an appropriate endorsement or BCBA certification.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs is required.
• Knowledge of MTSS and evidence-based behavioral supports is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs based on assessment data and evidence-based practices.
• Provide consultation, coaching, and technical assistance to school teams.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate interventions and progress.
• Develop and deliver professional development on Tier 1 behavior management.
