Job summary

A regional school district is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist for grades 4-8 for summer learning interventions. The role involves working with at-risk students and collaborating with staff to plan educational support. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in education and a valid teaching certificate. This position will be temporary, starting June 15, 2026. Pay will be $33.00/hour before July 1 and $34.07/hour thereafter.

Location: Oakridge Lower Elementary and Oakridge Middle School

Temporary un-affiliated position, grant-funded by one-time funds.

Qualifications:

Students Servicing & Hours of Work:

MS/One day per week; 9:00 am-11 am (Includes 30 minutes of planning time)

OUE/One day per week: 8:30 am-11:30 am (Includes 30 minutes of planning time)

*Sessions run June 15-July 17, 2026.

Middle School and Elementary students will not be in attendance the week of June 29 - July 3.

Behavior Support Specialist will work 2 days per week of summer learning.

One day (6 hours) of paid planning time will be provided prior to the start of summer school.
