Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in school finance or related business experience preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement procurement policies and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Windows-based software and technology training.

Responsibilities

• Manages the District Travel Desk, coordinating travel bookings, lodging, transportation, and related arrangements.
• Monitors travel requisitions through electronic workflow and approvals to ensure timely completion.
• Processes and monitors employee travel reimbursements with proper documentation.
• Provides guidance on travel requirements, procedures, and reimbursement.
• Interprets federal and state travel requirements and applies district policies.
• Maintains travel procedures, forms, and website content; keeps information current.
• Identifies opportunities to improve travel efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Supports liability and property/casualty insurance programs and liaises with agents.
• Investigates incidents and claims to assess liability or risk exposure.
• Advises administration on incidents, insurance coverage, and potential risks.
• Coordinates annual insurance renewal with district personnel and agents.
• Maintains records related to insurance policies, claims, and renewals.
• Safeguards confidential information and coordinates with district staff on risk matters.
• Acts as Deputy Encumbrance Clerk and backup P-Card Administrator within Purchasing.
• Builds relationships with district staff and maintains reliable attendance; assists with special projects.
