Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, occupational safety, emergency management, risk management, criminal justice or related field.
• Experience in school safety, emergency management, risk management or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the District’s safety, security, emergency preparedness, and emergency management programs.
• Develop, review, and implement EOPs, procedures, protocols and training for safety and emergency response.
• Coordinate drills, reviews, and corrective actions; support ICS implementation and training.
• Develop and deliver safety and security training for staff and administrators.
• Supervise assigned personnel and provide guidance to district and school leaders.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and community partners to promote safe schools.
