• Experience or knowledge related to international risk management.
• Ability to support safety and compliance initiatives.
• Ability to manage travel-related risks in an international environment.
• Ability to communicate with faculty, staff, and students regarding risk and travel abroad.
• Ability to support emergency response efforts connected to international incidents.
• Ability to review and implement policies, protocols, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support institutional safety and compliance related to international travel.
• Manage travel-related risk affecting students, faculty, staff, and university operations.
• Review and implement travel risk policies and protocols.
• Lead training related to international travel risks and compliance.
• Address evolving geopolitical, health, legal, and environmental risks worldwide.
• Serve as a resource for international risk management questions from faculty, staff, and students.
• Provide emergency response support for international incidents.
• Report primarily to the Director of Education Abroad.
• Maintain a secondary reporting relationship with the CSU Chief Risk Officer.
