Job summary

State Center Community College District seeks a District Director of Employee Relations and Title IX to lead the districtwide Title IX program, supervise coordinators, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and promote an equitable campus culture. The role requires strategic leadership, policy development, and collaboration with internal partners.

The Director will oversee investigations, training, and reporting, while advising executive leadership on risk and compliance, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in human resources, law, investigations, or Title IX compliance.
• At least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience coordinating Title IX programs and investigations preferred.
• Juris Doctor or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Title IX program districtwide.
• Direct intake, investigations, and resolution of discrimination complaints.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with Deputy Title IX Coordinators and campus Title IX personnel.
• Advise leadership on compliance risks, emerging trends, and policy changes.
• Develop and monitor district policies, procedures, and training related to Title IX.
