Job summary

California State University, Monterey Bay seeks a Director of Civil Rights and Title IX to lead the campus Title IX program. You will oversee investigations into discrimination and harassment, advise on remedies, and coordinate prevention and training across the university.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with CSU policies, and collaborate with HR, Academic Affairs, and campus partners to foster a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Five years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with compliance, Title IX, and nondiscrimination programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Title IX Coordinator and DHR Prevention Administrator.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with HR and campus offices for conflict resolution.
• Develop and deliver education, training, and outreach on nondiscrimination.
