Job summary

CVS Health in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy operations across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, assist the Pharmacy Manager, and help manage patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include safe dispensing, immunizations, staff coaching, inventory management, and collaboration with the healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues while maintaining compliance with laws and CVS

Qualifications

• Must hold an active pharmacist license in the store's state.
• Must have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader in store operations.
• Ensure safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Coach and support Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy staff.
• Assist with inventory management and protect cold chain products.
