Job summary

CVS Health in Conyers, GA is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will work in stores, help with patient care, immunizations, and ensure safe dispensing while coordinating with the Pharmacy Manager.

The DSP role requires active pharmacist licensure in the store state, an active NPI, and the ability to travel within a reasonable radius.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing and counseling.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; serving as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s duties when on duty as the primary pharmacist.
• Coaching the pharmacy team to deliver empathetic patient care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
