Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist shifts across the district, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care in CVS stores. This part-time role requires travel within a reasonable radius and availability for nights and weekends.

You will oversee pharmacy operations in multiple locations, coach the team on workflows, immunizations, and patient service, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee pharmacy and serve as proxy for Pharmacy Manager
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflows and safety guardrails
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by coaching the pharmacy team in compassionate care and resolving issues
