Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to join our retail pharmacies across the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, assist the Pharmacy Manager, and support the pharmacy team in safe dispensing, immunizations, and patient care efforts.

Travel within the district is required; you will ensure continuity of operations and maintain high standards of patient safety and service. This part-time role emphasizes flexibility and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Oversee the pharmacy operations during bench shifts or as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Assist as Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day backup when on duty.
• Provide compassionate patient care and coach the pharmacy team to do the same.
