Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover scheduling gaps, travel across the district, and support pharmacy teams. You will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and drive patient care with immunization services.

You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader, supporting inventory controls, policy adherence, and training for staff while remaining flexible to district needs.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district.
• Travel district to fill pharmacist shifts and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day duties when on duty.
• Provide immunizations and coach pharmacy technicians to learn immunization.
• Maintain inventory with focus on cold chain and best practices.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and compliant operations.
• Maintain flexibility for scheduling and business needs.
