Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across multiple CVS Pharmacy locations. You will support the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, provide immunization services where permissible, and maintain district operations under Pharmacy Manager direction.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and no DEA exclusions. Travel within the district is expected; part-time schedule with weekend/hours flexibility

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support pharmacy operations and serve as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Assist with safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, CVS policies, and privacy rules.
• Support inventory management and cold chain protection across pharmacies.
• Contribute to patient experiences with compassionate, high-quality care.
