Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing sales volume.

You will service Indiana communities around Fort Wayne, build professional relationships with owners, purchasing directors, and chefs, and manage receivables according to company policy.

Qualifications

• Must have strong foodservice sales experience.
• Commission-based sales experience preferred.
• Excellent driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing sales volume.
• Maintain professional relationships with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one, utilizing company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sampling of products to demonstrate available products.
• Manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposits are handled according to Company policy.

This position will service Indiana communities around Fort Wayne.

This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in Indiana primarily in Fort Wayne area. We are looking for an individual who has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses. You must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price. You must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful. Must have had success selling as a commissioned salesperson in past.
