Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Sales Consultant to develop and maintain a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing sales volume in Indiana with a focus around Carmel, Fishers, and Noblesville. The ideal candidate has strong foodservice sales experience, a willingness to work on commission, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Prior experience in foodservice or hospitality is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong foodservice sales experience is required.
• Must have sold as commissioned salesperson in the past.
• Creative problem solver with good closing ability.
• Experience in foodservice or hospitality is very helpful.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume. Duties include: maintain a professional relationship with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one, utilizing company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sampling of products to provide and demonstrate available products to customers, manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposit slips are handled according to Company policy. This position will service Indiana communities around Carmel, Fishers, and Noblesville.

The right candidate for this position will have:

This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in Indiana primarily in the Carmel, Fishers, and Noblesville.

We are looking for an individual who has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses. You must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price. You must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful.
