Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Sales Consultant to develop and maintain a profitable sales route by servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing sales volume in the Fort Wayne area of Indiana. You will meet one-on-one with customers, leverage company specialists, vendors, and brokers, and sample products to demonstrate offerings.

A track record in commissioned foodservice sales and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Foodservice Sales experience.
• Must have sold as commissioned salesperson in past.
• Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful.
• Must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume.
• Meet one on one with customers, utilize company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sample products to demonstrate offerings.
• Manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposits are handled according to Company policy.
• Service Indiana communities around Fort Wayne.
