Van Eerden Foodservice in Michigan’s Flint area is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to develop and service a profitable customer base, open new accounts, and grow sales.

The position offers a starting pay of $65,000 to $85,000+ depending on experience, with commission opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers.

• Meet with customers one-on-one and sample products to demonstrate offerings.
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure cash receipts/deposits follow company policy.
• Collaborate with company specialists, vendors, and brokers to fulfill customer needs.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Consultant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume. Duties include: maintain a professional relationship with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one, utilizing company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sampling of products to provide and demonstrate available products to customers, manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposit slips are handled according to Company policy. This position will service the Michigan communities in and around the tri-city area of Flint.

Starting Pay $65,000 to $85,000+ depending on experience.

This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in the Flint, Michigan area.We are looking for an individual who has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses. You must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price. You must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is required. Must have had success selling as a commissioned salesperson in the past.
