Job summary

Gruma Corporation is seeking a district sales manager to oversee customer relationships, coordinate cross-functional sales activities, and drive account development in the assigned district. This role focuses on achieving sales and profit targets while maintaining warehouse standards.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and 2–5 years in sales management (DSD/Route Sales), with travel required and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 2–5 years in sales management (DSD/Route Sales) experience.
• Experience in route sales in the grocery industry is preferred.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective customer and independent distributor relationships.
• Coordinate sales activities with multiple functions.
• Maintain and develop sales accounts.
• Provide input in the development of sales plans.
• Ensure sales and profit targets are achieved.
• Identify opportunities and corrections by tracking product performance in the district.
• Maintain warehouse areas to meet regulatory and AIB standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
